Yesterday (November 27) Margot attended the Nissan Futures‘ global forum at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles.

Margot was wearing a nude PVC jumpsuit as she took to the stage to talk about her commitment to sustainability and experience as an electric vehicle owner. The nude jumpsuit, which featured an elegant button design on the trousers and a collared shirt, sheathed over Margot’s trim frame. She added a boost to her height with black strappy sandals and kept accessories to a minimum with gold studded earrings.

NISSAN PRESS ROOM – Academy-award nominated actress Margot Robbie pulls on a wet suit and uses her love of surfing to inspire people to live more sustainable lives in her latest film for Nissan.

As Nissan’s Electric Vehicle and Sustainability Ambassador, the actress, producer and businesswoman has composed an open letter to encourage people to make more sustainable energy choices.

Robbie, who performed the surfing sequence herself, is seen enjoying the early morning waves as she talks of creating a “better world for ourselves and everyone who comes after us.”

With offshore wind farms and solar panels currently accounting for two-thirds of new power added to the world’s grid in 20161, Robbie explains that “we all have the power to make a change.”

“I hope I can play a small role in inspiring people across the globe to explore alternative forms of energy and make the switch to drive a better future for everyone,” said Robbie. “The point is, we can all make a difference and we don’t need to wait for others to do it for us.”

Robbie recently helped Nissan unveil its new Formula E car to a VIP crowd at an event in Los Angeles, to celebrate an exciting era for Nissan as it prepares to enter the ABB FIA Formula E Championship in the 2018/19 season. The move will benefit all drivers – as Nissan has committed to taking lessons learned on the track into future commercial electric vehicle development.

“Nissan is committed to pioneering a future which empowers consumers to make the right choices in how they use and store energy,” said Gareth Dunsmore, electric vehicle director, Nissan Europe. “Our LEAF and e-NV200 models are not only cleaner drives, they become mobile energy units too – the used batteries from these vehicles are put to good use as part of our xStorage energy storage solution which provides power to homes and even football stadiums across the world.”

Nissan’s global electric vehicle sales jumped 28% last fiscal year, when LEAF confirms its position of world’s best-selling electric vehicle. Nissan has sold more than 320,000 LEAFs since the model was first introduced in 2010. (source)

NEWSROOM NISSAN – Nissan completed its Formula E launch tour in Los Angeles today with an event led by Margot Robbie, the company’s electric vehicle and sustainability ambassador, heralding an exciting era for Nissan as it enters the ABB FIA Formula E Championship.

First revealed at the Geneva Motor Show to high acclaim, followed by its U.S. debut at the New York Auto Show, the Nissan Formula E car was shown to an array of VIP guests in L.A.

Robbie spoke at the event about her experience driving an electric vehicle in the city, and about her pride in serving as an ambassador for Nissan’s electric vehicles.

“I’ve already seen many of Nissan’s initiatives, designed to bring cleaner air to roads and fairer access to power across the globe. And now, we have this – a fantastic new Formula E car,” said Robbie. “I’m excited to see how it will help Nissan develop its EV offering further and bring new and exciting technologies to communities across the world.”

Nissan’s entry into the electric street racing series coincides with the launch of the new generation Formula E car, featuring striking new aerodynamics and a whole new battery and powertrain package. The Nissan Global Design team in Japan designed the livery.

NISSAN NEWSROOM – Nissan electric vehicle ambassador Margot Robbie today revealed during her first ever Facebook livestream that Nissan will premiere its new Formula E electric concept livery at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6.

In another first, the cameras, lights and equipment used to broadcast the live appearance were powered by the new Nissan LEAF battery.

Nissan announced last October that it will enter the fast-growing Formula E series in the 2018/19 season. The all-electric series gives Nissan a highly visible global platform from which to spread the message of Nissan Intelligent Mobility – the three-pillar strategy to redefine how its vehicles are driven, powered and integrated into society.

Last October, Margot announced the Nissan Electric Ecosystem that aims to transform the way you drive and live, and most recently, she announced three new Nissan sustainability pilot projects at Futures 3.0 in Oslo. Yesterday (October 02) Margot was in Oslo (Norway), attending the Nissan’s Futures 3.0 – The Car and Beyond event to announce three new Nissan sustainability projects. She looked great, as usual, wearing a Zimmermann lace cami top, Zimmermann folly dapper skirt and also Zimmermann stretch boots (thanks to DressLikeMargot for the infos!) and I have to say I adore the entire look!
